The Alba Camera Pedestal
  A Complete Camera Support System 


Introducing the Alba Camera Pedestal*--an affordable, strong, lightweight, and easy to use camera support system. The Alba Camera Pedestal is made up of interlocking modules that can change configurations quickly, turning the "ped" into a crane, jib arm, or dolly within minutes. Different configurations of the modules can be used to replace hi-hat, baby legs, or tripods on the set. 

Our pedestal design is unique. The absence of obstructive tripod legs provides greater mobility and unobstructed rotation. 

With a lightweight arm and a custom made rotating head, it becomes a jib. A friction device makes for a very well balanced stationary jib that covers all camera elevations from 28" to 94" with full 360° freedom of rotation.    

Add a 4ft. section to the  Alba Camera Pedestal, and it instantly becomes a crane that can elevate the camera from ground level to 10 ft.

The Self-Leveling Monitor Unit keeps an LCD screen viewable in all camera positions.

The wheel arms on the base can fold into a small footprint, which can be helpful in cramped spaces. With the addition of interchangeable wheel arms, the operator can dolly on 1-1/2 inch PVC pipe or metal tracks. One person can easily set-up and breakdown the system in minutes, and pack it all away into two custom made portable cases.

Alba Camera Pedestal System Specs:
  • Constructed of high grade aluminum.
  • Pedestal Weight: 28 lbs., supporting up to 60 lbs. 
  • Height: 48" including the base and the 3 riser modules of 18", 12" and 10".
  • Top 10" module is available with a 100mm leveling cups and a 75mm adaptor to accommodate most video pan and tilt heads.
  • Sectional 8 ft Boom with Pan Head.
